Snr Java Developer

The role is working within the Instrument Data Distribution team who support the instrument static data hub which takes in feeds from multiple mastering systems which are in turn fed by multiple external data vendors such as Bloomberg, Moody?s and S&P. The hub provides a consolidated view of fixed income instrument, pricing, rating and issuer data as well as analytic source data (XML) that is distributed to multiple downstream systems. The hub is a complex Oracle database with numerous distribution mechanisms including replication, direct SQL stored procedure access, Web Services and middleware message distribution via Tibco EMS. Our on-going strategy is to consolidate the delivery of instrument static to clients into a single hub called ESM2 (Enterprise Security Master) which will have locally replicated copies of CDM2 (Core Distribution Model) available for clients who require it.
Reporting to the Fixed Income Distribution Project Manager, the developer will be responsible for the analysis of downstream consumer?s data requirements, the design of appropriate methods to deliver them and the co-ordination between the team and consumers to ensure that their needs are met. The role is very much a ?hybrid?, crossing the boundaries between Business Analysis and Technical Design, so the candidate will need technical expertise to design high performance solutions to consumer?s requirements while at the same time understanding those requirements at sufficient depth to ensure they get precisely the data that they need.
This is an opportunity to work on a highly visible project with senior management sponsorship. CDR/CDS is a key strategic application for distributing fixed income instrument data throughout the Investment Bank and has the potential to be used within the wider UBS group. The role will involve interaction with IT, operations and business colleagues across the whole spread of front office, back office and control functions to ensure that their requirements are met.


Your job will involve:

∙ Acting as a first point of contact for consumers within the bank with requirements for fixed income instrument data. You will need to respond to their queries and work with them to develop a coherent set of requirements for their adoption on to the hub.
∙ Working either independently or with other members of the team, develop these requirements into a design that can be implemented by the development team. This will involve analysis of the requirements to ensure that we have sufficient data coverage to meet timeliness or content expectations and if change is required in other systems or the data we source from vendors to drive this.
∙ Once the requirements are well defined, you will work with the consumer to decide on the best integration method for their requirements, ensuring that appropriate technical experts are engaged as required to ensure the best fit to the strategic adoption approach.
∙ You will act as the contact point into the team throughout this process, producing status updates as required and ensuring that the consuming group are kept up to date with progress and issues. Where an adoption is sufficiently complex you may be required to manage the project plan for the work.
∙ Once a solution is available, act as liaison with the consuming group to ensure that sufficient testing is carried out and that the implemented solution meets their requirements.
∙ You will be working with a team that has deep financial services domain expertise and collective experience of delivering high quality technology deliverables in a demanding environment. You will be expected to get up to speed with the domain and the standards of delivery expected within the group quickly and ultimately be a significant contributor to the shared capability of the group.
∙ You will be a key member of the wider fixed income instrument team and will have opportunities to work with other technologies, applications and business areas as your experience grows.
∙ You Will Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications.
∙ Will be performing various phases of project life-cycle: Analysis, Design, Build, Test, Implementation and Support.
∙ Experience with Overnight/batch processing with large scale database.

я тебе могу много дать резюме, но думаю что на сегодняшний день они не актуальны. Т.к. эти люди работу еще летом искали.

Есть такой чудный сайт www.developers.org.ua - это сообщество программистов-девелоперов, раньше у них на сайте можно было разместить объявление и быстро найти хорошего спеца. Но сейчас это делается через сайт rabota.ua. Они публикуют для них объявление. Если есть немножко времени пусть твои друзья через них обратятся. Зато найдут хорошего специалиста.
